Imagine if companies behaved the same way as political parties. The CEO would be constantly undermined by the employees, there would be constant infighting and lack of agreement. The competition (opposition) would spend their time criticising, rather than creating their own ideas. A core competency would be to avoid answering any questions with a direct answer, even closed questions. Now imagine if political parties acted like companies. Leadership would be supported and followed. Agreement would be sought and collaboration would be the norm. The competition would be focused on creating a better alternative. Just a thought.
